Join the queer soccer festival!
It‘s UEFA EURO 24 time in Germany and also in Hamburg! On 6 July 2024, the Heiligengeistfeld in St. Pauli will be transformed into the EURO24 fan zone for our queer football tournament.
The ball will be rolling from 2:30 pm to 7.30 pm – you can be part of it starting at 4 pm! Admission is free of charge.
Expect football, fun & diversity
A day full of football, fun and diversity! Our tournament offers a diverse supporting programme with show acts, prominent guests from politics, the queer scene and sports as well as a strong focus on diversity. We represent diversity within the football and sports community and show how sport connects different lifestyles.

Two tournament modes
The tournament itself is played in group stages and short knockout rounds so that all teams have plenty of playing time. Each team consists of one goalkeeper and four outfield players, with unlimited substitution possibilities. The games last 12 minutes.
Safety is guaranteed
An on-site awareness team ensures that all participants feel comfortable and safe.

During the UEFA EURO 2024 Hamburg says hello to people from all around Europe who will come to Germany to have an exciting time this summer. We are thrilled to welcome different cultures and perspectives at the gateway to the world, because for us, Startschuss Queer Sport Hamburg e.V., diversity, respect and tolerance are important elements since the beginning in 1990.
This is the reason why we invite everybody to our Startschuss Diversity Day on 6th July who wants to experience the bounding power of football with fun, joy and love. The ball itself does not care who kicks it. No matter which pronouns, sexual orientation or nationality someone has – it is of no importance. The only thing that matters is the goal and this is the same for everyone.
This summer we show Europe how sport unites people and we present football in all its facets.
