Startschuss Summer Camp

Training Camp in Lindow (Mark) from June 12–14, 2026

This year, Startschuss is heading back to Lindow (Mark) for its summer training camp. There, we’ll be offering a training program for the following sports:

You can find initial information about the training sessions offered for basketball, bowling, fitness, outdoor activities, swimming, table tennis, dodgeball, volleyball (including beach volleyball), and yoga here:

For basketball, we plan to play both in Gym 2 and outdoors if the weather is nice.

The first practice session starts on Friday evening; there will be two extended sessions on Saturday, and the final practice on Sunday.

In between, there will be plenty of time to try out other sports.

We’ve reserved the bowling alley for each evening. If there’s a need for additional practice sessions, that’s no problem either.

In the evenings, members of other sports can also try out the bowling program. There will also be plenty of opportunities to make new friends and get to know other sports.

Arne will be joining us in Lindow and will lead a session on both Friday evening and Saturday. We’ll also have the opportunity to offer a spinning class and, of course, try out the other sports in between.

Two outdoor tours will be offered in the Lindow area. Explore the Mark landscape and hike with us around the lakes. You can round out your sports program with introductory sessions in other sports.

Flemming, Jubi, Niels, and Norbert will be there to help you get in top shape and improve your technique. Over the course of 4–5 training sessions, you’ll learn various short- and long-distance exercises. For members of other sports, we’ll be offering a trial swimming course.

We will set up the table tennis tables in the dance studio again, allowing us to offer ideal training conditions throughout the long weekend. There will also be plenty of opportunities for those who haven’t played table tennis yet to give the sport a try.

For dodgeball, we have Sports Hall 2 at our disposal, and when the weather is nice, we also have an outdoor hard court. Here, we have plenty of opportunity to improve our tactics and technique during extended training sessions.

Members of other sports are welcome to come by for a tryout and experience the unique atmosphere of dodgeball.

Please not: We’ll be playing “Völkerball” which is not 100% the same as Dodgeball.

The large three-court gym is available for volleyball. The coaches will give you plenty of opportunities to improve your technique and game strategy. This way, you and your team will be perfectly prepared for the Gay Games!

We also have two beach volleyball courts available.

There will also be introductory sessions for non-volleyball members.

Namaste! Jens is offering a short session of dynamic Vinyasa yoga. The focus is on stretching and relaxation. All you need to bring is workout clothes. The session lasts about 45–60 minutes.

In Lindow, we can look forward to ideal training conditions, full board including a barbecue evening (vegetarian and vegan options are no problem), accommodation in rooms for 2–3 people (single rooms available), a sports party, a sauna, walks by the lake, and a very idyllic setting.
Once again this year, many sports are offering trial and introductory sessions, making the training camp appealing to those interested in and enthusiastic about other sports as well!

Freitag, 12.6. bis Sonntag, 14.6.2026
